Biography
I.You.She, aka Aayushi Kumar, is a Seattle-based pop rock artist who currently lives in Boston. She's a student at Berklee College of Music and has been writing music since her sophomore year of highschool. Her music mixes the dance pop elements of Dua Lipa with the rock sound of Miley Cyrus’ recent music along with lyricism and vocals similar to those of Willow Smith.
Her most recent release, "sink", discusses the idea that happiness isn't a final destination but rather an emotional state that comes and goes. Because of this, the song advocates that everyone is suffering in their own way.
As a performer, I.You.She manages to create an intimate yet welcoming atmosphere when she steps on stage. She has had opportunities to perform for activism groups advocating against gendered violence, TedX events and even was a soloist at Carnegie Hall.
